Yasha ch. 7

Sliding in just under the wire to count for September. ^_^;; This ends (as usual) on a bit of a cliffhanger, but expect another chapter (the end of volume 2!) in November.

Meanwhile, things to look forward to in October include more chapters of Himegoto (chapter two should be coming up in the next few days, actually), raw scans of Kamisama no Orgel 3 and Aozora Yell 10, at least one chapter of A Child’s Child, and the last two chapter summaries of 7 Seeds 22 (I meant to get that done this month, but it didn’t happen).

Title: Yasha
Author: Yoshida Akimi

Summary: Twelve-year-old Sei lives a normal, quiet life on a small island in Okinawa until one day a strange man who seems to know his mother shows up and tries to kidnap him. After that, nothing is normal or quiet in this sci-fi thriller from the author of Banana Fish.

Chapter Summary: Just as Sei had feared, Rin has been kidnapped by people who mistook him for Sei. But are things really what they seem?

I feel bad about being so slow with the next chapter, so I decided to divide it in half (since I have a bit over half of the translation done now) and should be posting the first half sometime this week. :) (And hopefully the rest not that long after, definitely within February.)
