Yasha ch. 5
I know it’s been a long time since I’ve updated Yasha, but I’ve finally got the next chapter done. From now on, I will be alternating between Yasha and A Child’s Child, hopefully with a chapter of one or the other coming out every month or every other month.
A case of mistaken identity during a break-in at Moichi’s hospital leaves Sei shaken and wanting answers. Who is this mysterious Rin and what light can he shed on Sei’s past?

Ryuu no Hanawazurai (Two Flowers for the Dragon) vol. 7 [summary]
A friend commissioned me to do a summary of this final volume in the series, when its US release was cancelled after six volumes. It is being scanlated (and since it took me a year to find time to finish this, much to my dismay), and volume seven is almost halfway done, but perhaps there are those who would just like to read the summary, or who would like to read ahead to the end of the series before the scanlators finish the final chapters. Anyway, here it is.
I had never heard of this series before I got the request, but ended up really enjoying it and definitely recommend it. You can find more info about the series on Baka Updates, as well as links to the scanlation group who are working on it.

7 Seeds vol. 20, ch. 102 [summary]
I haven’t had much time to work on this, or any of the other dozens of projects I’m juggling, and meanwhile Tsukihana Scans has been updating quite frequently with their scanlations and are already on volume 19! So I began wondering whether it was really worth it to keep working on the summaries for vols. 20 and 21. I mean, I originally started writing these because the scanlations were so, so far behind. And now they’re not.
Anyway, I had already done most of the first chapter of vol. 20 when I decided to (maybe) call it quits, so I just finished up the chapter tonight. I may finish up this volume, or I may not, just depends on how much time I have to devote to it and how fast Tsukihana works. XD But for now there’s this. :)

A Child’s Child ch. 9
Relationships are the focus of this chapter. Hiroyuki is the father of Haruna’s baby, but he’s not her boyfriend. Instead, she finds herself developing a crush on a boy in another class, Daigo. Meanwhile, it’s not just Yagi-sensei’s work life that’s not going well; things are rocky between her and her boyfriend, too.
This is the end of volume one, so I’ve also provided a rar file of the entire volume here, for those who want it.
Starting in 2012, I will be alternating between A Child’s Child and Yasha again.

A Child’s Child ch. 8
Nothing is going right for Yagi-sensei. The other teachers don’t take her seriously, the parents are unhappy with her choices, and even her students won’t listen to her. The last thing she needs when she’s already stressed out is to hear Haruna say she thinks she’s pregnant.

Updatiness
Wow, it’s nearly mid-September and I haven’t had an update in over a month. Work has kept me busy and there just never seems to be time. I am working on stuff, though! The next chapter of A Child’s Child, raw scans of Tegami Bachi 12, a summary of the final volume of Ryuu no Hanawazurai/Two Flowers for the Dragon (done on commission; I’d never heard of this series before, but it turned out to be really enjoyable, and unfortunately its official English release was cancelled before the last volume could be published), and summaries of volumes 16 and 20 of 7 Seeds are all in progress. Hopefully I’ll have one or more of those to post before September is through.
In the meantime, I’ve updated my collaborations page with two new projects I’ve been working on with Kotonoha, A Girl by the Sea and Sadness of the Heart, both of which are pretty neat, so you should check them out.
