  • You Will Hear the Voice of the Dead ch. 1 + Gunjo ch. 19

    Today I have two very different manga for you. First off is a series I only discovered myself recently, but got totally hooked on and now consider it one of my favorite ongoing series: You Will Hear the Voice of the Dead by Hiyodori Sachiko.

    It follows Kishida Jun, a boy who can see ghosts and seems to have a knack for getting himself into terrifying situations. Aside from a few two-parters, each chapter is a stand-alone story.

    The second is the next chapter of Gunjo, which also happens to be the second-to-last chapter of volume 2, which means we’re just about two-thirds of the way through this story! Although I have had volume three sitting on my desk for a couple years now, I have not read ahead, so I’m just as much in the dark as you all as to how it ends.

    Summary: Sickly Kishida Jun has the ability to see ghosts, but in his opinion, it’s a stupid power and nothing good ever comes of it. Considering the number of grisly situations he seems to find himself in after the ghost of his childhood friend Hayakawa Ryoko starts following him around, he may have a point.

    Chapter Summary: After a visit to the nurse’s office, Kishida notices the ghost of his missing classmate Hayakawa Ryoko is following him. He doesn’t really want to get involved, but they were childhood friends, after all, so he should probably investigate what happened to her…

  • The Cherry Orchard

    I started working on this last year, got the first chapter translated…and then the group I was working with dissolved. -_- Since I hate doing work and then ditching it, I found someone else to work with, the extremely talented Shinkaron of Heterophobia Fansubs, and am now happy to present you with all four chapters of this short story. :D

    The volume also includes a fifty-page unrelated one-shot, which I’ll be posting separately hopefully sometime in the next month or two.

  • Koi-iji: Love Glutton ch. 1

    Well, I know some of you are probably disappointed this update isn’t the new Yasha chapter, but I assure you that’s coming soon. In the meantime, here is chapter one of a new series I’m working on, Koi-iji: Love Glutton by Shimura Takako. Shimura Takako is one of my all-time favorite mangaka and I’m thrilled to be able to work on something of hers. I hope you guys will enjoy this new series as much as I have.
