In other news, I’m still working on chapter 3 of the Yasha scanlation and hopefully will have that done in the next couple weeks. It’s a long chapter (~60 pages), so hopefully that will make up for the long wait a little bit.

Emi wins the special prize in a raffle, which turns out to be a can that supposedly holds happiness. There’s even a weird little man who starts following her around, claiming he’s the “god of the can” and trying to give her advice. But all she wants is for her relationship with her boyfriend to feel less like a one-sided crush. Will this can really help her be happy?I’ve been working with Occasional Amateur Scanlations to translate some older anthologies by Kawahara Kazune (author of Sensei! and High School Debut). This is the first story in an anthology by the same name. The other four stories in the anthology will follow whenever we get them done.

State of things
Hey, guys, I know I haven’t updated forever. I’ve been super busy, but I am working on the next chapter of Saint Young Men and hope to have that up later this week or (more likely) next week.
In the meantime, I’ve been working with several other groups.
For Kotonoha, I translated a josei manga called Pumpkin and Mayonnaise and a seinen manga called Kaikisen. I’ve also been doing a bunch of seinen one-shots by Asano Inio for them (links can be found in the sidebar of their main page) and will be starting a new series this week.
I’ve also joined Dokukinoko to revive the scanlation of IS, a josei series about intersexuality. The first eight volumes were scanned by someone else, but then the series was abandoned and Dokukinoko just recently picked it up. They did the first two chapters of volume nine with another translator, but I’ll be doing the translations starting with chapter 38 (which I’ve translated, but has not yet been published).
I also do a lot of Jump stuff with Franky House (One Piece) and Sleepy Fans (Naruto, Bleach, and Bakuman). I’m going to be doing Psyren as well, though I don’t think any chapters that I’ve worked on have yet been published.
So that’s what’s going on here. Again, sorry for the delay. Once I’ve got chapter 7 of Saint Young Men done, I hope to have another chapter each of Yasha and A Child’s Child done before the end of the year as well.

Two short Louis/Lestat stories, one set during their time together on Louis’ plantation and one that’s a retelling of the reunion scene at the end of The Vampire Lestat. I scanlated these in 2003 for a small group of friends, so the scans are not the best quality (though I did go back and redo the text). These two stories do not comprise the full doujinshi (there were two other comics and several text stories), but were all I scanlated at the time and I no longer own the book.
